Increasing Coffee Export Competitiveness, Yayasan Rasagama Wita Assists Ndorog Coffee in Export Cooperative Marketing

The Indonesian coffee industry, known for its diversity and quality, continues to strive to solidify its position as one of the world’s best coffee providers. For this reason, it is important for local coffee businesses, especially in the Wonogiri area, to receive assistance in managing export marketing. Yayasan Rasagama Wita participated in assisting Wonogiri’s Ndorog coffee in a coffee export marketing program located at Gapoktan Segar Multipurpose Cooperative. The event aimed to increase the capacity of coffee farmers in marketing their products to the international market, while introducing the unique potential of local coffee.
Through this activity, Ndorog Wonogiri coffee farmers had the opportunity to understand effective marketing strategies, from product introduction, competitive pricing, to selling through digital platforms, which are now key to penetrating the global market. The training was complemented by experience-sharing sessions from experts and practitioners in export marketing, providing first-hand insights into global coffee market trends. In addition, the assistance provided also covers coffee processing techniques that meet export standards, as well as marketing strategies based on international market data.
The success of this program will have a direct impact on improving the quality of coffee production in the Ndorog Wonogiri area. By prioritizing marketing and export management skills, coffee farmers are expected to access wider market opportunities and increase the competitiveness of their coffee in the international arena. The program also aims to build a strong network between coffee farmers, exporters, and global consumers, thereby creating highly competitive economic sustainability for local coffee farmers.
