Banyumas Enhances SME Potential Through Coaching Program for New Exporters (CPNE)

The Banyumas Regency Government through the Department of Manpower, Cooperatives, and Small and Medium Enterprises (Disnakerkop UKM) in collaboration with the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) launched the Coaching Program for New Exporters (CPNE) program. This program is designed to provide intensive training and mentoring for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Banyumas who want to expand their product markets to foreign countries. It aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills on export strategies, international regulations, and access to export financing.
CPNE in Banyumas adopts a comprehensive approach that includes three class categories, namely Export Potential, Export Ready, and Export Proficient. Each class is specifically designed according to the level of readiness of participants in undergoing the export process. In the training sessions, participants will gain insights from export practitioners, ranging from product development according to international standards, market intelligence strategies to understand global market needs, to optimizing the role of institutions such as the Directorate General of Customs and LPEI in supporting the export process. With this division of categories, the CPNE program is expected to be able to reach business actors from various levels, from those who are just starting out to those who are ready to expand their export markets.
Through this initiative, the Banyumas Regency Government and LPEI are committed to improving the competitiveness of local SMEs in the international market. In addition to encouraging the creation of new exporters, this program also aims to strengthen the regional economy through increasing the contribution of SMEs in the national trade balance. With the CPNE program, Banyumas is expected to be able to produce highly competitive business actors who not only drive the local economy, but also bring regional superior products to the global stage.
